The Vacuum Induction Distillation Unit (VIDU) is a compact, high-performance system designed for laboratory and pilot-scale melting and distillation of metallic materials under high vacuum or controlled inert gas atmosphere. The system integrates induction heating up to 1800 °C, ultra-high vacuum capability, and a multi-stage graphite condenser, enabling efficient separation and purification of metals with precise thermal and atmospheric control.

Engineered for advanced metallurgical research and process development, the VIDU supports metals such as Aluminium, Copper, Nickel, Magnesium, Titanium, Cobalt, and their alloys. The unit is supplied as a complete, floor-mounted, semi-automatic system with comprehensive safety interlocks and international-standard compliance.
